Joleen completed her HypnoBirthing training directly with Marie Mongan, the developer of the HypnoBirthing Institute. She is totally committed to the HypnoBirthing philosophy and techniques. She is certified by the Southwest Hypnotherapists Examining Board and is a member of the The National Guild of Hypnotists. She specializes in pregnancy and birth issues. Her goal is to help couples learn from and understand problems encountered during past birthings, even as as they improve their skills and strategies, in order to have the statisfying and rewarding current birthing they deserve. Joleen's in-depth HypnoBirthing classes teach couples fear release, self-hypnosis techniques, pain management and/or elimination, breathing techniques, comfort strategies, and how to acheive nature's birthing blueprint. As a Doula, Joleen partcipates in her student's birthing experience by supporting, directing, and helping Mom and her birthing companion. She aids them in creating the safe, easy and comfortable birth that they desire, deserve and have dreamed of for a lifetime. She brings her special knowledge and skill to all births whether they have had the HypnoBirthing training or not.
